Human Right Defenders Coalition (HRDC) chairperson Gift Trapence has voted in Lilongwe.
Trapence who succeeded Citizen for Transformation Movement (CFT) Commander in Chief Timothy Mtambo has been urging Malawians to go out in large numbers in elect the president of their choice.
Meanwhile, a number of reputable people have already voted including Malawi Congress Party (MCP) president Lazarus Chakwera, state vice president Saulos Chilima and President Peter Mutharika.
Currently voting is underway across the country following a court order which nullified May 21, 2019 presidential elections.
