MEC Chair Says Social Media ‘Madando’ Will Not be Entertained

Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) chairperson Justice Chifundo Kachale has said complaints from social media platforms will not be entertained.
Justice Kachale said this yesterday during a press briefing when he updated the nation on the progress of the elections.
Kachale cited Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and MEC commissioners’ personal accounts among others.
According to Kachale only formal complaints via reputable and acceptable channels will see the way into the commission’s attention.
