Another Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) vehicle has been involved in road accident in Ntcheu District.
MEC Chairperson Dr. Chifundo Kachale disclosed this in a media briefing held at the electoral body’s main tally centre at College of Medicine in Blantyre.
The accident happened on Wednesday night.
According to Kachale, MEC van hit a stationary vehicle but the materials in the vehicle were not damaged.
He said the vehicle was not carrying results of the fresh Presidential polls.
Kachale said the materials arrived safely in Blantyre.
