Controversial Prophet Austin Liabunya has issued a prophetic warning to President Peter Mutharika who is trailing behind Tonse Alliance torchbearer Lazarus Chakwera in the fresh presidential elections.
Writing on his Facebook page Liabunya said Mutharika must accept defeat or something unpleasing might happen to him.
“Mutharika, Atupele or his people must not do anything funny,” writes Liabunya.
In his message Liabunya emphasize that Mutharika’s loss in the fresh presidential elections is a win to him saying that people will not understand because it is a spiritual thing.
Liabunya continued that even if Mutharika would have been given a chance to win the elections he would have not reached 2024.
“God loves him so much that He had to remove him from power in May 2019 so that he could not die in power like his brother. God has just done to him a huge favor; it’s actually a win to him (something he may not know; its spiritual) because even if God could give him a go ahead he still would not reach 2024,” said Liabunya.
He added; “So the best option God had was to remove him from what would kill him.”
According to Liabunya “He (Mutharika) must accept and congratulate Chakwera for defeating him with landslide victory.”
Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) is yet to announce a winner as Chakwera is leading with 58 percent.
