Chairperson for Human Rights Defenders Coalition (HRDC) Gift Trapence has stressed that the coalition represent Malawians.

Trapence said this during a press briefing the coalition held this afternoon in the commercial city of Blantyre.

Trapence was responding to a question when he was asked if the coalition will be holding accountable the next government as it was the case with the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).

Concurring with Trapence, HRDC member Luke Tembo said the coalition did not work with any party in fighting for electoral justice.

HRDC has been on DPP’s neck as they accused the party of practicing impunity when running government affairs.
