Chiefs in Dedza have pleaded with education authorities to open schools as soon as possible saying continued delay will contribute to increased early pregnancies and marriages in villages.
Senior Chief Kachindamoto and Acting Traditional Authority Kasumbu told Zodiak Monday,their efforts of encouraging young girls and boys to complete education is being compromised as they are engaged in bad malpractices since they are just staying idle.
