New minister of Finance Felix Mlusu is set to present a provisional budget in parliament on today,Tuesday, as the 2020/2021 national budget that was presented by former minister of finance Joseph Mwanamveka has fallen off due to events surrounding the change of regimes from Tuesday’s fresh presidential poll.
This has been disclosed by new leader of the house Richard Chimwendo Banda whom president Lazarus Chakwera has also appointed as minister of Homeland security.
Banda said since government financial year ends on 30th June it is very important to table and approve the provisional budget on Tuesday.
This comes as some commitee procedures, demands they are chaired by opposition members.
