Reports reaching this publication indicate that Director for Health Services in Dedza Dr. Regina Chimenya has been been hit by a car.
Dedza police publicist Cassim Manda confirmed of the incident.
According to reports, Chimenya was rushed to Kamuzu Central Hospital after a car bump into her as she was placing vegetables in her car at Bembeke Trading Center.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car that hit Chimenya, Alufeyo Chalusa has been arrested on charges of reckless driving.
Chalusa was driving a vehicle registration number NU 4726.
