A governance watchdog, Forum for Democracy and Development has cautioned Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) spokesperson, Nicholas Dausi over his accusation of the Police days after the arrest of some party members.
At the weekend, Police arrested DPP members James Chuma, Gerald Viola and Jomo Osman over different offences.
However, Dausi has accused government of facilitating the arrests for the DPP members to contact Coronavirus in Police cells.
Director of the forum, Cydric Magaleta has accused Dausi, saying his statement demeans efforts government has embarked on to end corruption.
According to Magaleta, the statement by Dausi creates a wrong impression that Police and prisons cells have been infested by coronavirus.
