South Africa’s opposition leader Julius Malema has asked President Cyril Ramaphosa to close schools as the novel Coronavirus continues to spread.
Malema who is the Chief in Commander for Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) made the call via his Twitter handle.
“Chief please close schools, I am asking you nicely,” he tweeted.
While tagging president Ramaphosa, Malema said he will not congratulate the president on alcohol because he warned about it.
According to Malema, the president never listened to his advice.
“I will not congratulate you on alcohol because I warned you, but you choose to listen to white capital and look now,” he said.
South Africa has over 200, 000 confirmed cases with 4, 000 deaths.
