Chibuku Products Limited recalls Maheu product over incorrect labeling

Chibuku Products Limited has recalled a batch of its Maheu product over incorrect labeling of the date of manufacture.
In the last few days, Malawians on social media have been sharing a picture of super maheu bottle depicting the date of manufacture as 30 July 2020.
Reacting to the outcry, the Company attributed the anomaly to an ink-jet malfunction that ended up in erroneously printing the date as July 30 instead of July 3.
The Company has since asked all wholesalers and retailers to return the products.
Meanwhile the Company has launched an investigations into the matter.
