Bastar Chirwa elected Zomba City Council Chair

Mswaswa Ward councillor, Bastar Chirwa, has been elected as the Zomba Council Chairperson during a full council meeting.
The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Councillor got 15 votes to beat Matiya Ward councillor, Brazio Chinthenga, who got 3 votes.
During the elections, Chanda Ward Councillor MacPherson Sulumba was elected vice chairperson.
Chirwa takes over from Wilson Likhusa.
