Former CEO of ESCOM John Kandulu arrested

Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) John Kandulu has been arrested by the Anti-Corrupition Bureau (ACB).
Kandulu’s arrest came barely hours after the arrest of two former employees of ESCOM namely; Fanuel Nkhono, and another employee Emelius Kandapo.
The three have been arrested in connection to claims of misprocurement at the electricity distribution company.
