4-year old boy has died after being hit by unregistered motorcycle.
The deceased has been identified as Datisani Bysino.
The accident occurred on July 22, 2020 at Kangolwa Health Centre, along Kasakula-Mwasambo earth road.
Facts are that a 17-year old boy Matoni Nasoni, from Miliki village, Traditional Authority Kasakula in Ntchisi district was riding unregistered motorcycle (Rico), from the direction of Kasakula trading centre heading Kangolwa trading centre.
Upon arrival at Kangolwa Health Centre, while trying to avoid colliding with an on coming unregistered San LG motorcycle, he accidentally hit the boy who was crossing the earth road from left to right side.
Due to the impact, the boy sustained severe head injuries and died while receiving treatment at Kangolwa Health Centre.
Police have since warned motorcycle operators to be cautious when riding motorbikes.
The deceased hailed from Mwanyumbu village in the area of Traditional Authority Kasakula in Ntchisi district.
