Former MERA CEO Collins Magalasi arrested

The law enforcers have arrested former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) Collins Magalasi.
The police have also arrested Bright Mbewe from Procurement Office and MERA spokesperson Patrick Maulidi.
National Police spokesperson James Kadadzera has confirmed the arrest of the three in an interview with the press.
Kadadzera refused to disclose reasons of their arrest, only saying investigations are underway.
