Government has said it is not satisfied with the reduction of mobile phone calling by one of the network provider operators Telekom Networks Malawi (TNM).

TNM announced that it has reduced the Pay as You Go tariffs by 70 percent which has not been received well by consumers.

Consumers demand the reduction of internet data bundles, describing the current tariffs as exorbitant and daylight robbery for internet users.

They have since taken their grievances to social media by launching the #DataMustFall campaign, in which celebrities have joined the protest.

Minister of Information Gospel Kazako reveals that the government will continue engaging mobile phone services providers.
