Workers at Pharmacy, Medicines and Poisons Board are staging a sit in aimed at forcing government to remove the boards’ Director General Dr Moses Chisale.
The staff members claim Dr Chisale has failed in financial and human resource management as well as failing to display strong leadership skills at the institution.
The workers have since closed the main entrance to the premises with tree branches.
The follow up industrial action comes barely seven weeks after staff also went on strike on 4th June 2020 demanding the removal of Dr Chisale.
