The Malawi Police Service (MPS) has interdicted from duty 13 police officers implicated in the Lule Buleya matter, pending completion of the murder case they are answering at the High Court.
This has been confirmed through a letter signed by MPS’ Director of Human Resource Management and Development, Stain Kaliza.
The officers are accused of being involved in the death of Buleya Lule who died in police custody.
