Kondwani Nankhumwa vice president for the former ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) for the south has said Malawians will not forgive president Lazarus Chakwera if he fails to deliver his campaign promises.
Nankhumwa said this during a press briefing organized by officials from the party which was held in the capital Lilongwe this morning.
According to Nankhumwa, this is so because, Chakwera is busy blaming and arresting DPP members and other leaders of previous government.
He further called on the state president to advance national building instead of settling his political scores against DPP members.
After the Tonse Alliance under the presidency of Chakwera and his deputy Saulos Chilima a number of DPP sympathizers have been arrested in connection to looting of public funds and other offenses.
