Farmers Union Association of Malawi (FUM) has faulted Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (ADMARC) for creating environment which is putting the farmers at risk of contracting Coronavirus in the country.
This comes following reports that ADMARC has stopped produce buying exercise from farmers in all ADMARC depots across the country, a development which has forced farmers to sell out their produce to vendors hence putting their lives at risk of contracting Coronavirus.
Currently, Malawi has recorded 3,738 cases of Covid-19 since its outbreak in the country four months ago.
