High Commissioner of India has urged its citizenry living in Malawi to ensure that their work permits are regularly updated.
The communication follows increased number of Indian nationals who are being arrested by the Malawi police.
In a press statement seen by Faceofmalawi, the High Commission has noted with great concern with Indian nationals who have faced problems due to insufficient immigration related documents.
Therefore, Indian Nationals have been advised to keep their work permits, passports and other related documents updated.
The commission has also asked its citizenry to follow all laws and regulations are followed.
