Chairperson for the Presidential Task Force on the novel Coronavirus Dr. John Phuka has urged people who have recovered from the virus to continue following preventive measures.
According to Phuka currently, there is no known scientific evidence to show immunity in recovered patients, hence the advice given.
So far 1, 760 have recovered from the virus.
In the past 24 hours, at least 32 patients have recovered with 120 new infections and 4 new deaths.
Cumulatively the country has now conducted over 28, 000 tests, out of which total confirmed case sit at 3, 858.
At the moment Malawi has 1, 991 active cases.
