State House distances Chakwera from fake twitter account

State House has distanced President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera from a twitter account bearing his name commenting on political squabbles rocking Zimbabwe where CSOs are demanding the immediate resignation President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

State House Press Officer Sean Kampondeni said this in a statement released on Tuesday made available to faceofmalawi.

According to Kampondeni, the official and authorized Twitter account of the President is @LAZARUSCHAKWERA.

The existence of the account has since been reported to relevant authorities, as it is in breach of the Electronic Transactions Act 2016.
