Police in Phalombe district have arrested two men for allegedly being found trafficking two children to Mozambique.
According to Phalombe Police publicist, Innocent Moses, the two, Simon Kamwendo, 28 and Manuel Macheso, 21, were caught at Phaloni Trading Centre on their way to Mozambique.
Moses says the victims who come from Zomba are aged 15 and 17 respectively.
He added that the victims were promised to work in maize fields.
The development comes barely a week after police also rescued three children from the hands of suspected child traffickers at Nambazo Trading Centre in the district.
