The European Union has committed to provide K50.1 billion for the implementation of Malawi’s ‘Zantchito’ project.

The 7 year initiative is consistent with the current administration’s intent to creating 1 million jobs through capital injection and capacity building for entrepreneurs including women and the youth.

Minister of Finance Felix Mlusu and EU representative Charge de Affaires Ivo Hoefkens have signed for the agreement during a ceremony at the Capitol Hill in Lilongwe on Wednesday.
