Veteran comedian Elson Soko popularly known as Anyoni will be laid to rest today in Blantyre, faceofmalawi can reveal.

Soko died on Saturday at Blantyre Adventist Hospital at the age of 71.

Soko was a well known comedian on MBC radio programmes ‘Pamajiga’ and ‘Sewero la Sabata Ino’.

Speaking in an interview with the press producer of Pamajiga, Hope Bembelezi Chisanu expressed shock over the death of Soko.

Chisanu said Soko has left a big gap on the radio play.

Soko, was from Mackenzie Village, Traditional Authority (T/A) Sawali in Balaka. He is survived by four children and six grand children.
