An angry mob has killed a 20 year old man identified as Shadreck Medson by setting him ablaze as a revenge after he allegedly stabbed to death a 48 year old man identified as Lackson Banda.
Kasungu police spokesperson Harry Namwaza has confirmed of the development, saying the incident happened on Monday at chavinda village in the area of traditional authority santhe.
Reports say Medson stabbed Banda as he was attempting to rescue his mother who was being attacked by Banda, who was her husband.
The 2 quarrelled over family matters.
Following the stabbing of Lackson Banda, angry villagers mobilized themselves and burned Shadreck Medson to death.
