Government has been advised to consider setting up well established quarantine facilities for Covid19 treatment and testing at the country’s airports.
The appeal comes at a time government has stated of intentions to open airports and boarders by 1st September 2020.
George Jobe, a health rights campaigner says there is need to have standard facilities at the airports.
According to Jobe, this will go a long way in combating the further spread of the coronavirus.
Similarly, Jobe has since challenged government to improve its management of returnees from South Africa.
His call follows an argument that has risen over the last few months that Covid19 cases have escalated in the country due to the return of some Malawians from South Africa and were reportedly left unattended to at Kamuzu Stadium.
