Woman who was assaulted for being suspected of practicing witchcraft in Mulanje dies

One of the four women assaulted and partially burnt on accusations of killing a 20-year-old man through magic in Mulanje has died.
Mulanje Police spokesperson Sub-Inspector Gresham Ngwira has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press on Tuesday.
According to Ngwira, the suspected witch died at Mulanje District Hospital where she was receiving treatment.
Details of the deceased are not yet known at the moment.
