Over 100 Malawians in China have pleaded with government to bail them out of COVID-19 economic challenges which they have experienced for five months in a foreign land.
Secretary-General for the Association of Malawians in China Lazarus Banda said their public call for government to help comes after their attempts to engage the authorities through formal communities proved futile.
Meanwhile, about 98 students that were expected to land in the country by 23rd August will have to wait a little longer as government has denied their flight from China permission to land in Malawi until airports open probably early September.
