police in Blantyre ask stakeholders and well wishers in the city to help in fighting against rape cases.

Therefore police in Blantyre are appealing to the faith community to lend a hand in fighting rising defilement cases in the city.

The call follows a twelve year sentence the Blantyre magistrate court has handed to a 33 year-old man for defiling an 11 year old girl.

Chileka police publicist Peter Mchizi has since appealed to the faith community and people of goodwill to intensify sensitisation on the evils of defiling young girls.
