All is set for an emergency an emergency meeting convened by former President Peter Mutharika who is also leader of Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
The meeting follows divisions within the DPP as some top officials want Mutharika replaced through an early convention.
According to source, some top officials have started arriving at Mutharika’s retirement home in Mangochi.
Notable people that have arrived so far include Jappie Mhango, Goodall Gondwe, Ralph Jooma, Chimwemwe Chipungu and Bright Msaka.
The meeting is scheduled to commence at 2pm this afternoon.
