Reports reaching this publication indicate that Charles Mchacha is being questioned by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
Officials from ACB have confirmed the development but could not give more details on the matter.
Mchacha was a cabinet minister and is still a Member parliament of the then ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
Mchacha served as the minister of lands which is known of massive corruption.
Since DPP was ousted of power by the Tonse Alliance, the Anti-grafting body has been summoning its members for questioning for allegedly being involved in corruption.
