President Dr Lazarus Chakwera has lined up a range of activities in the week including a meeting with Vice President Dr Saulos Chilima on the dissolved boards of various parastatals.
State House Director of Communication and Executive Assistant to the President, Sean Kampondeni, disclosed this on Monday during a media briefing.
Kampondeni has also said Chakwera is for depoliticisation of Medef loans by all political players across the board.
In response to a question from the media, Kampondeni says the Access To Information bill will be operationalised and since it’s a long process the Ministry of Information will be updating the nation on the progress.
He also clarified that it is the position of the President that every constituency should have a house for its legislator.
The project is being scrutinized and government will invite interested investors to pump funds into the initiative which will give constituents access to their parliamentarian.
