The Founder and Managing Director for La Paz Furniture Company Farduigue Chigodo has said the plans are on pipeline to expand the market base of the company to all regions so that they be supplying products countrywide.
Speaking in an interview Ndirande based Entrepreneur said his vision is to build a big company which will have show rooms and to buy electrical machinery plus employing more workers as job creation.
“When I expand the market base to all regions of the country I will assist government in job creation to reduce unemployment rate and my products will be unique with high quality standards,” he said.
Chigodo further said customers should differeciate between his products and other on the market because of its uniqueness.
He sells his products to individuals and companies and the products include household furniture like Sofa sets, Kitchen units, Dining sets, room dividers, wall units, Display cabinets and also supply office furnitures such as ceiling.
Chigodo said he learnt carpentry and Joinery profession from his father as he was also a carpenter in his home village of Group Village Headman Nogue in the area of Traditional Authority Nkanda in Mulanje district.
“Carpentry and Joinery profession is a family business and my message to my customers is that the products I produce are very affordable with high quality standards,” he said.
La Paz Furniture Company is located in Flats in Popular Township Ndirande in commercial city of Malawi, Blantyre.
