Government has finally gazetted the Access To Information (ATI) law.
The development comes barely hours after President Dr. Lazarus chakwera appeared in Parliament to answer questions from legislators where he hinted that ATI law will start functioning soon.
According to Minister of Information, Gospel Kazako, journalists in the country and the public will access any information, whether confidential or not from duty bearers.
ATI was passed into law during the reign of former President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika but it was blocked from being operationalised due to unknown reasons.
