All is set for the administration of Primary School Living Certificate of Education (PSLCE) examination by the Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) across the country.

MANEB Executive Director, Gerald Chiunda disclosed this during a media briefing held in the commercial capital Blantyre on Tuesday.

According to Chiunda, 302 968 candidates will write PSLCE exams while 154 146 students will sit for Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) exams.

PSLCE exams are expected to commence on September 30, 2020 and will run for three days while MSCE exams will start on October 28, 2020.

In March this year, government through the then President professor Arthur Peter Mutharika closed all schools due to Coronavirus oubreak, forcing learners to be out of school.

Due to pressure, the new administration under President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera re-opened schools especially for exams classes and for final year students in Colleges.

Other learners in other classes will join their colleagues after three weeks, according to Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MoEST) in the country.
