Reports reaching this publication indicate that concerned chiefs and communities in Zomba around Jali Trading Center are protesting the removal of Group Village Head man Jali.
According the concerned people, Group Village headman Jali is accused of being corrupt.
The demonstrators also accuse the chief of allegedly stealing bags of cement meant for the construction of a market shade.
The chiefs and communities are set to deliver a petition to District Commissioner’s office.
Group Village Headman Jali is yet to comment on the accusations leveled against him.
