The woman has identified as Mirriam Dickson.

Police say the suspect was arrested along M5 (Salima – Nkhotakota) road by traffic police officers in the district.

Nkhotakota Police Spokesperson Williams Kaponda, says traffic officers found the cannabis having checked bag in a taxi whose registration number is NS 8171.

The sativa weighs about 60 kilograms.

Dickson hails from Mgomba village in the area of Traditional Authority Msamala in Balaka district.
