The Malawian airline flight carrying the Malawi leader and the First Lady Madame Monica Chakwera landed at exactly 9:05 am.

Upon arrival the President was welcomed at the Kenneth Kaunda airport by Malawi’s minister of foreign affairs Eisenhower Mkaka and Zambian government officials.

The President was given the honour of inspecting a guard of honour mounted by the Zambian defence force and a 21 gun salute.

Meanwhile the President has already visited the hero’s acre and he is at the moment in bilateral talk with President Edgar Lungu.
