Government has said it is intending on completing all unfinished major projects that were initiated during previous regimes, including those in the health sector, before embarking on new ones.
This is according to Health Minister Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda.
Khumbize Kandodo said that this would include Phalombe district hospital which has taken numerous years of construction.
The previous trend of ignoring various unfinished projects by past administrations has often left targeted communities gravely disadvantaged.
For instance, a majority of rural communities walks very long distances to access medical care from public health facilities.
