Police in Haryana claimed to have solved a triple murder mystery by arresting a man. Shockingly, the man had allegedly murdered his wife, sister-in-law and mother-in-law in Panipat district of Haryana and later had sex with their bodies.

The murders were committed in Samalkha town of the district on September 6. The accused has been identified as 27-year-old Noor Hasan. The accused, a resident of Patti Kaliyana village in Sonepat district, was arrested on Thursday.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, the accused also allegedly raped the bodies of the victims. The bodies of the victims were found from three different locations on September 6, 7 and 8. Police claim the accused has admitted to killing the three women and raping their bodies.

The accused suspected that his wife was having an extra-marital affair and she was getting support from her in-laws.

After the murders, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed on September 11 under the Panipat Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to probe the case.

According to police, the accused first drugged his wife and sister-in-law and then killed them with sharp-edged weapons on September 5.

He later dumped their bodies at different places. Later on September 8, he went to his mother-in-law’s place in Bursham village and strangulated her. He also tried to burn her body to hide her identity.

The accused lived in a rented house in Samalkha with his wife and two kids. Police have now booked the accused under Section 302 (murder) and 201 (hiding evidence) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
