Thieves have stolen money and other things belonging to Catholic nuns at St Patricks parish on the night of 23 September, 2020 in Lilongwe.
According to the reports, the thieves overpowered the guards who provide security at the place by tying them in order to carry out their task.
The thieves then broke into the parish’s tuck shop where they went away with assorted items.
The thieves also reached the brother’s place with the same aim but failed to steal.
The parish appeals to the general public to keep the nuns in prayers as well as St Patricks parish during this trying times so that the thieves should be caught.
On 30 August, 2020, a similar incident occurred in Balaka where thieves went away with holy Eucharist, laptops and money after breaking into nuns’ place.
