Gertrude Hiwa finally out of office as Solicitor General

Gertrude Hiwa has finally left her role as Solicitor General after a court refused to stay her transfer to the Office of President and Cabinet (OPC) as chief director.

It is not clear if she will take up her new role at OPC.

Hiwa obtained an injunction last month after she was deployed to State House but the injunction was dismissed by the High Court.

The presiding Judge asked Hiwa to file an application to Industrial Court.
