In a bid to mitigate ongoing and growing reports of fraudsters, Chitipa Police has trained TNM Mpamba and Airtel Money agents in the district on how to deal with the fraudsters.
Chitipa Station Officer (SO), Senior Superintendent Goodwin Chigaru Sambo implemented the meeting to establish a working relationship between the agents and police officers, “I assure you that police is always there for you and I appeal to you to always work together to protect life and property,” said Sambo
Present at the training were Airtel Money and TNM Mpamba representatives, who warned the agents against giving or sending cash to customers before receiving money or verifying the message from them.
