The Mzuzu magistrate court has dismissed the electoral case involving well-known rapper Fredokiss, real name Penjani Kalua and two others, faceofmalawi can reveal.

This follows a request from the State to withdraw the case temporarily in order to allow more investigations that will support their case.

The case was presided over by chief resident magistrate-Gladys Gondwe.

Reacting to the outcome, Fredokiss expressed satisfaction over the ruling saying he is not bitter.

“Police officers are also human beings they make mistakes am not bitter it’s just the system,” he said.

Kalua, son to politician Kamlepo Kalua was arrested in Rumphi on June 23 by Malawi Defence Force (MDF) soldiers and was subsequently handed over to police.
