Police in Chirimba, Blantyre are today holding a meeting with Chirimba Kabaza Association following concerns of increased road accidents involving Kabaza operators in the area.

According to the Community Policing Coordinator for Chirimba Police Unit, Sub Inspector Harry Makumbi, these accidents are happening because most Kabaza operators are not aware of the rules they are supposed to adhere to.

Makumbi has asked the operators to follow the rules so that accidents can be minimised.

Police are also meeting the association to outline requirements for Kabazas to operate legally.
