The new administration under Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has rebranded the Malawi Enterprise Development Fund (MEDF) to National Economic Empowerment Fund (NEEF) Limited.
The development follows an announcement by the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Felix Mlusu when he was tabling the 2020/2021 National Budget in the August House weeks ago.
Secretary to Treasury Chauncey Simwaka confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to Simwaka, the logo has also changed to suit the new name.
