In joining efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19, Oxfam has donated preventive equipment to 18 primary schools in Dowa district.

Oxfam Malawi deputy country director, Ellias Khozombwe, says the donation which is worth 2.8 million kwacha has come in a bid to ensure that learners are safe as schools fully resume next month.

On his part, Director of Education, Youth and Sports for Dowa district council Christopher Kumikunde hailed Oxfam for the gesture saying it will go a long way to assist learners as schools open.
