Management at the College of Medicine (Com) has warned students that failure to participate in an ongoing online learning programme called Emergency Remote Teaching (ERT), which commenced earlier this year, will lead to temporary withdrawal.
The registrar of the college, Stuart Chirambo, has confirmed the development, saying that the students received the necessary help from the college to access the programme so they have no excuse.
The college has since written a memorandum to the students, stressing that any student who will not have accessed and/or participated in the ERT classes by Friday 9th October, 2020 shall be required to repeat his/her year of study in the next academic year.
